EWAN BURNETT
Ewan Burnett has worked in the Australian film and television industry for more than 29 years. With Arts Degrees in Philosophy and Cinema Studies, he initially worked in the area of commercials and documentaries before embarking on a career in drama television for adults and children.
His extensive Producer, Executive Producer and Associate Producer credits include the series “Last Man Standing”, the mini-series “Kangaroo Palace”, “Bootleg” and “The Farm”, the children’s series “The Wayne Manifesto”, “Eugénie Sandler PI”, “Short Cuts”, “sn:tv”, “Sleepover Club”, “Fergus McPhail”, “The Henderson Kids II”, “Round The Twist”, “Sky Trackers” (telemovie), “Lift Off, “More Winners” and the animation series “Animalia”.
He also produced the stage shows “Mum's The Word”, “Mum's The Word 2:Teenagers!” and “Spontaneous Broadway” and created the concepts for the television series “Fire” and the telemovie “Mumbo Jumbo”. His productions have won three AFI and four ATOM Awards, a BAFTA, a LOGIE and two AWGIE awards. They have also been nominated for a further BAFTA, two AFI and three LOGIE Awards.
Before establishing Burberry Productions, Ewan occupied many positions within other companies including Production Supervisor at Crawford Productions, Program Manager at the Australian Children’s Television Foundation and Executive Producer at Artist Services. He has also undertaken a number of board and committee appointments including for Film Victoria and the Screen Producers Association of Australia and was Adjunct Professor of Media in the School of Applied Communications at RMIT University for three years.
TONY WICKERT: During the last 30 years Tony Wicket has mastered the craft of film and television through acting, directing and teaching. He began his career as an actor with the Independent Theatre. He moved to London and became a drama director for various television stations, including BBC Television. In London he also began teaching screen acting and on his return to Australia he taught at NIDA, Ensemble Studios, the Actors Centre and ABC Television. He currently lives in Repton and through his company Summer Hill Media, he teaches screenwriters, actors and directors the craft of film.
JACQUIE HOULDEN: Jacquie has a BA in Cinema and post graduate qualifications in video production. Her experience in the film industry ranges from production on commercials and TV programs to assistant director and location manager on mini-series and movies. Jacquie has maintained her interest in the creative industries, she and her husband Wayne own Janison, based in Coffs Harbour, which makes e-learning systems, incorporating interactivity including video and other media.
